Mr. Adam Robson of Wellhaugh, Plashetts, asked if the council could give a subscription towards the repair of the bridge across the North Tyne at Wellhaugh, as it was in a very dangerous condition. The sum of ?30 had been raised so far?It was erected for the benefit of shooting parties but it was used by schoolchildren ? no bridge, no tuition.
