Plans to demolish the 100-year old Kielder viaduct, deemed ?no longer useful?, were announced by the Forestry Commission. Compare 09/04/1965 and 23/04/1965. In 1969 the Forestry Commission gave it to the Northumberland and Newcastle Society.
