An ?alarming mishap? befell the evening passenger train from the North on the Border Counties Branch of the LNER when it collided with a motor lorry crossing the line at Barrasford Quarry Friday 25th July 1930. The lorry was carried for almost 200 yards but no one was seriously injured.
