KNITTING PEOPLE TOGETHER
Come and help us knit a long scarf! This will be the second long scarf knitted by visitors to the Heritage Centre but this time we want to document your name and the name of your town or district and then make a map linking all the people and the places together. You might want to knit to mark a birthday or anniversary or some other occasion - your own or someone else's - or teach someone to knit. We are not trying to break any records but we are trying to create something very special - a scarf made by many hands from many places. Normal admission charges apply (discounts for groups of 10+). It would be great if adults could donate an extra £1 and children 50p towards the Knitting People Together project. See our Knitting People Together webpage for more details.
